Oppo's Reno 8 Pro 5G is the company's most expensive Reno smartphone in India, yet. Priced at Rs 45,999, it surely looks the part and makes a good first impression, but a quick glance through its specifications and everything appears quite mid-range. Is the Oppo Reno 8 Pro 5G all about looks or does it pack enough punch with its overall performance and cameras that could warrant its high asking price?

The Oppo Reno 8 Pro 5G is a premium smartphone from the company that is focussed on offering a premium design. The phone has a slim and elegant design that uses glass and metal.
Its display gets quite bright and colours appear vibrant. It features a thin bezel all around that adds to its overall premium appeal. The phone’s display is also HDR10+ certified and it all works as expected when it comes to streaming supported content.
The phone runs Oppo’s ColorOS 12.1, which is based on Android 12. Everything works as expected and Oppo’s O-Haptics vibration system enhances the software experience.
Camera performance in daylight is quite good, but the same cannot be said about the ultra-wide and macro cameras. In low light, the phone captures good photos, but its performance is not consistent. Battery life is quite solid and lasts a day and half on a single charge.

Worth every pennyKedar Mukherjee (Aug 13, 2022) on FlipkartPhone is good,no doubt.It looks & feel premium but the price tag is just un justified.Being a fan boy of Oppo phones I personaly feels the price tag is going too much high.Plz Oppo next time do some research before launching Oppo 9 series.Lots of people loved ur phones and want to buy but for the price point they can not afford it.So next time please come with a aggressive price.Thanx.Is this review helpful?
