We know that most of the big smartphone manufacturers release new phones on a strict schedule each year, and it's pretty safe to guess that most of them will just add a higher number to the ends of their product names. It's obvious that Samsung will launch the Galaxy S9 and Note 9, Google will push out the Pixel 3 series, and OnePlus will decide to call its next product the OnePlus 6. It's too early to say for sure what any of these phones will look like, but we have some pretty good ideas based on where the industry is heading.
