• Great laptop

  I spent ages searching for the perfect laptop and I'm very pleased that I chose this one. 16GB of RAM and an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 950M graphics card makes this a very powerful laptop and I can run games such as Skyrim on relatively high settings. It boots up incredibly fast due to the SSD. Track pad is very responsive and screen is a good quality. It is slim and looks professional (unlike some bulky over-the-top gaming laptops). The only negative I can think of is that the keyboard is not back lit, but this was not important enough to be a deciding factor for me.

• Very good machine with some minor drawbacks

  I have a model with i7 16Gb RAM and SSD.+ Looks good. Thin and neat. I like it very much+ Metal cover+ Metal keyboard panel. In fact I'm not sure if it is metal: it looks like plastic but feels cold and quite hard.+ Ultra HD is amazing. Supercool sharp picture, fonts looks really good, 4K videos from youtube work perfectly. 15.6 inches are more than enough.+ Robust body. Feels strong and solid. No creaks or anything even when it is moved or lays on something that is not flat.+ Good battery life: 6+ hours internet browsing. Right now I'm writing this it shows 3:20 hours remaining time with 50% charge+ The system does not get too hot. When you don't do anything requiring a lot of CPU power it does not activate the cooler at all.+ SSD is fast and silent. I don't need to write about that.+ Sound is surprisingly good but that is really depends on what the laptop stands on because the speakers are on the bottom side.- When you do something that needs CPU power the cooling system gets quite loud. When you are watching movie in the night that can become annoying.- Related to the same point: when you use the microphone it can hear the cooler VERY WELL. A guy i was talking to via Skype asked me once if i'm doing any kind of construction work at the computer.- Air intake is on the bottom side. Be careful using the computer in a bed or on some soft surface.- Keyboard layout is a bit uncomfortable. You can not adjust volume with one hand because you need to press Fn+F11 which are too far away. OK, that is not a big problem but when it is dark you can not find where is F11 or F12 by touch. Why didn't they make the volume on Fn+Arrow keys like on Acer laptops or separate buttons like on Lenovo? The Insert does not have its separate key, you need to press Fn+Del for Insert. And Del is also not in the very intuitive place. Personally I'd prefer not having the numeric keyboard but all the keys like PgUp, Home, Insert etc. in better places.- Touchpad is OK but it is not possible to set up scrolling with circle gesture and the momentum function does not exist.Despite all that negative points I would highly recommend this computer.

• Mostly good so Far...

  Just brought this laptop. Only loaded top end Revit 2017 and Autocad 2017 so far but it is rapid - the graphics card appears to be out if date for AutoCAD though! Start up is almost instantaneous and shut down the same. Silent operation and handling what I throw at it despite the graphics card message. Nice interface, simple set up and the 4K display is stunning. Great purchase so far. Thumbs up.
