About The Children's Train Movie (2024)

In the late 1940s, an Italian mother made the difficult decision of getting his son on a train full of children off to North Italy going live the rest of their lives with a wealthier family, as a part of a postwar initiative to rescue children from poverty. Based on Viola Ardone's 2019 eponymous novel based on true events.
