After being announced almost a year ago, Need for Speed No Limits has finally released on Android and iOS. It has had an extended soft launch period from January and came under scrutiny for having petrol as an in-app purchase. The game has you racing through the streets of the city of Blackridge. You'll take part in a host of arcade race events as you blast through traffic and speed past your competition. This aside, you'll customise your ride as you see fit. It features parts and body kits from real life brands like Rocket Bunny, 6666 Customs, RTR, and RWB to modify your ride as you like.

And although the game just launched, it sports 900 race events, 100 player levels, more than 10 game modes, 38 stunning race courses, and 30 different licensed cars. More than enough to keep you busy until developer Firemonkeys Studio - which was also responsible for the successful Real Racing series - decides to add more content. You can also go up against others in head-to-head tournaments and to earn special rewards.

At the time of writing this, the iOS version of the game is not available on the India App Store. However a quick check at on the Dutch App Store indicates an 808MB download. With EA claiming that Need for Speed No Limits has over 2.5 million custom combinations to indulge in, you can be assured that a fair few involve doling out real world cash. Information on the Indian Google Play Store pegs the range of micro-transations from Rs. 120 to Rs. 6,200.
