Soon to be announced new Skoda Kodiaq design revealed

After showing off the new interiors of its upcoming SUV, Skoda has now released a few images of the vehicle's exterior. While these images are basically design sketches of the new Skoda Kodiaq SUV, it still gives us a fair idea about what the vehicle will end up looking like, when revealed at its global launch. The Skoda Kodiaq is set to be launched in the coming week, with the new model making its way to India shortly after.

The design sketches showcase the new front-grille design which is also available on the Slavia and Kushaq vehicles. A new split-LED headlamp makes it here as well. The SUV still maintains the same design cues from the outgoing model, but adds bolder and more pronounced wheel arches that now have a squarish design.

Also visible is a C-shaped tail light which now runs through the width of the vehicle, adding to its modern and edgy appearance. The new vehicle is expected to be longer compared to the outgoing model which is also available in 5-seat and 7-seat configurations. It is expected to be powered by a 1.5-litre TSI engine coupled to a mild hybrid system and a bigger 2.0-litre TSI engine which is expected to be available for the four-wheel drive variant.

Mercedes-AMG G 63 Grand Edition comes to India

Mercedes-AMG has launched its performance focussed G63 Grand Edition in India, priced at Rs. 4 crore. Being a limited edition vehicle, only 1,000 of these will be produced worldwide, out of which India will get just 25 units. The company states that the vehicle will only be made available to its existing clientele, who already own a Maybach, S-Class or a Mercedes-AMG vehicle and not to new customers. Mercedes-Benz also states that deliveries for the same will begin only from the first quarter of next year.

While nothing has been added or changed over the standard model when it comes to exteriors, this special edition vehicle gets a new Kalahari Gold Magno finish which is applied to the front bumper, Mercedes logo, wheels and the sides in the form of stripes. The interiors get Nappa leather seats with gold stitching carrying forward the whole black and gold theme

The luxury SUV is fitted with 22-inch alloy wheels but is powered by the same 4.0-litre V8 engine that comes in the standard AMG model. It produces 569hp and 850Nm of torque, which is enough to propel this SUV from 0-100kmph in just 4.5 seconds.

Honda Activa Limited Edition launched in India

The scooter has been launched to celebrate the success of being the highest selling two-wheeler in India and will be available for a limited duration across all Honda Red Wing dealerships.

Just like the Honda SP125 Sports Edition, the Activa also remains very similar to the standard outgoing model. The bodywork also remains the same but with new livery and black chrome elements added to some parts. The scooter will be available in Matte Steel Black Metallic and Pearl Siren Blue finishes and alloy wheels. It will be powered by the same 109.51cc single-cylinder engine that produces 8.90Nm of torque.

Hero Xpluse test mule spied but with a bigger engine

Two new Hero motorcycles have been spotted testing. The first motorcycle seems to have a streetfighter design while the other appears similar to Hero's existing Xpulse adventure tourer but with what appears to be a bigger engine.

Reports point out that both motorcycles are using the new liquid-cooled engine from the recently announced Hero Karizma XMR motorcycle, but these could turn out to be entirely different whenever they are unveiled. The chassis on both motorcycles also appears to be quite different.
