Slow and unresponsiveEllen Mayer (Aug 6, 2018) on AmazonWe bought this laptop in a hurry to replace our old one that was quickly trying to die. It was taking forever to load, a lot of difficulty with getting hot, and was reliant on being plugged in to have power. We got this one because it had good specs for the price it was at, we were able to get it at just under $300,and sadly the only improvement is that it doesn't rely on being constantly plugged in. It can take minutes to boot up, especially if it has any programs it tries to run when booting up. The loading times just to go into your documents can take absurdly long. And now after only a month and a half it is deciding to refuse to start up properly, going straight to a black screen or freezing entirely at start-up, and when we are able to get it started it takes far too long to access anything. I honestly don't know if this has been a problematic laptop for others, but it certainly hasn't been worth the investment for us.Is this review helpful?
