Zoho Mail Announces Integrations With Over 750 Applications via Zapier

Zoho Mail has announced its intention to get into automation to speed up tasks and help its users improve efficiency. The company claims to have added over 750 integrations via automation platform Zapier. If you want an email sent every time someone in a team completes a task, for example, you can do that now via this integration.

An Indian company, Zoho offers a full suite of enterprise applications including an office suite, a password manager, and even consumer apps such as a note-taking app, and a fun chart maker.

How Zoho Is Reinventing Itself to Take on Giants Like Google, Salesforce

Although Zoho Mail is used by a number of people as their personal email service, it is geared primarily towards business use. For personal use, this integration may sound like a feature that will be used by a few power users only. However, in a business scenario, these are likely to be used a lot more since these integrations help save time.

Efficiency is crucial while working and some of these Zapier integrations automate repetitive tasks that end up wasting a lot of time for most organisations. Something as simple as sending an email every time a task is marked complete on Todoist is an example of a time-saving automation.

Some of the more advanced workflows include creating a new Trello card whenever an email is sent with certain terms. For instance you could create new cards for emails containing the words "bug report" or "story idea". You can even configure email alerts when certain words are mentioned on Twitter, which could be very useful for customer support teams.

Setting up these integrations is quite easy too. All you need to do is define a trigger and an action and Zapier will do the remaining work. You need to sign up for Zapier, which is free, and select Zoho Mail from the list of integrated apps. As of now Zoho Mail integrates only with Zapier, so if you were hoping for IFTTT integration, you're going to have to wait. You can check out all the Zoho Mail integrations on Zapier here.
