Asus Unveils Refreshed Vivobook S16, S16 OLED Laptops in India Alongside Vivobook S14: Price, Features

All models in the latest Asus Vivobook lineup pack 70Wh batteries and ship with a 65W adapter.

Asus on Tuesday announced a refreshed lineup of Vivobook laptops in India. As part of the upgraded Vivobook series, the company has introduced four models. The Asus Vivobook S16 OLED is an AI PC, powered by up to an Intel Core Ultra 7 processor. It comes with up to a 16-inch OLED panel with 60Hz refresh rate. Then there's the standard Vivobook S16, which gets a 16-inch IPS panel with the 144Hz refresh rate. Finally, the two new Asus Vivobook S14 laptops have a sandwich metal design, 14-inch screens, and a full-HD IR (infrared) web camera with a physical privacy shutter.

Asus Vivobook S16, S16 OLED, S14 Price in India

The price of Asus Vivobook S14 (S3407QA) in India starts at Rs. 74,990, whereas the Asus Vivobook S14 (S3407CA) costs Rs. 80,990. Meanwhile, the Vivobook S16 OLED (S3607CA) and S16 (S3607VA) models are priced at Rs. 82,990 and Rs. 69,990, respectively.

The laptops are available for purchase via Asus e-shop, Amazon, Flipkart, brand exclusive stores, Croma, Vijay sales and other authorised retail partners (select models only).

Asus Vivobook S14 Specifications

The Asus Vivobook S14 (S3407QA) is a thin and lightweight AI PC powered by a Snapdragon X series processor, paired with 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB of PCIe Gen4 NVMe SSD storage. It is complemented by a dedicated NPU which delivers up to 45 tera operations per second (TOPS) of AI performance. It sports a 14-inch 2.5K (2,560 x 1,600 pixels) IPS screen with a 60Hz refresh rate and 400 nits peak brightness level. It comes with a suite of preloaded Asus AI applications.

The laptop packs a 70Wh battery which is claimed to deliver up to 30.5 hours of usage on a single charge.

Meanwhile, the Asus Vivobook (S3407CA) also features a 14-inch screen but with a full HD+ (1,920 x 1,200 pixels) resolution and 300 nits peak brightness. It is powered by up to an Intel Core Ultra 7 255H processor, paired with 16GB of DDR5 RAM, 512GB of PCIe Gen4 NVMe SSD storage, and up to 13 TOPS Intel AI Boost NPU.

The company claims up to 20 hours of battery life on a single charge, backed by a 70Wh battery pack.

Both laptops come with a full-HD IR web camera with a physical privacy shutter, a backlit ErgoSense Keyboard and ErgoSense Touchpad with smart gesture support, and a dedicated Copilot+ key. Connectivity options on the Asus Vivobook S14 models include up to Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports, two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C ports with DisplayPort support, one HDMI port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

Asus Vivobook S16, Vivobook S16 OLED Specifications

The Asus Vivobook S16 is equipped with a 16-inch display with a 144Hz refresh rate and 300 nits peak brightness. Users can configure the laptop with up to an Intel Core i7-13620H processor with Intel UHD Graphics, 16GB of DDR5 RAM (8GB onboard + 8GB SO-DIMM), and 512GB of PCIe Gen4 NVMe SSD storage.

Meanwhile, the Vivobook S16 OLED, as the name suggests, comes with a full HD (1,920 x 1,200 pixels) OLED screen with 300 nits peak brightness, 89 percent screen-to-body ratio, and a 60Hz refresh rate. It is powered by up to an Intel Core Ultra 7 Processor 255H. The chip is paired with Intel Arc Graphics, offers up to 13 TOPS Intel AI Boost NPU, 16GB of DDR5 RAM, and 512GB of PCIe Gen4 NVMe SSD storage.

Connectivity options and battery specifications on the Asus Vivobook S16 and Vivobook S16 OLED remain the same as the Asus Vivobook S14 models.

All the latest Asus Vivobook laptops come bundled with Microsoft Office Home 2024 with a lifetime validity, along with 100GB of Microsoft 365 Basic OneDrive Cloud Storage for a period of one year from the date of purchase.
