Japanese IT company Verbatim has announced the launch of its SATA II Internal solid-state drive (SSD) in the country. So, if you were planning to replace the old HDD in your laptop, you have another option for you in the market.
Featuring the speeds up to 3GB per second, Verbatim SSD's power consumption is very low, company stated in a press release. It also offers TRIM support for Windows 7, which enables the user to wipe out unused data in the SSD internally.
According to company, this 2.5" SSD is resistant to shocks and vibrations and comes with 1500G shock rating. Verbatim SATA II Internal SSD will be available in 64GB and 128GB memory capacities and have been priced starting Rs 5,500.
