There definitely is a market for tablets which can be used as phones. They might not fit in a pocket or be comfortable to hold for very long, but you can browse the Web and enjoy movies on a large screen without having to carry multiple devices around. Lenovo's offering is budget-minded and competes with the likes of tablets from local as well as international brands. Its street price of Rs. 13,999 puts it roughly in the middle of the price range as far as this segment is concerned.

Not everyone will like the idea of using a tablet as a phone, but for those who do, Lenovo offers the Lenovo Tab A7-50 3G. As a tablet, this device doesn't stand out very much. Its middling specifications are not very exciting and you shouldn't expect very good performance especially if you enjoy playing games or watching HD movies. Lenovo's software is a bit finicky and there are quite a lot of preloaded apps which you might or might not find useful. The camera produced mediocre images and struggled with even 720p video. However, the price is low and you do get 3G data as well as voice calling.

Information about Lenovo Tab A7-50 3GKodali Santhu (Jul 31, 2014) on Gadgets 360This is the fourth Lenovo Gadget I purchased. For the first three my experience is verygood, but for the fourth one a bit of disappointment. It was mentioned in the Lenovo Webstie that this Tab is of Integrated Stereo Speakers, and when you see the Tab you beleive that there are two speakers which play sound because Two speaker mesh is visible one at top another at the bottom. But for Video and Music only the bottom speaker works and the top speaker is audiable only when making calls. For Lenovo A1000 tab both speakers wofk and sound was excellent, but this time I am very much disappointed. -Kodali SanthuIs this review helpful?

This tab is stylish in design, touch control is excellent..web browsing and other apps processing is much faster...HD images & videos are excellent in display..both camera images are also very nice...battery back up is also very good as mentioned by Lenovo....This Tab is value for money.. Desirable: Lenovo must add Gorilla glass screen and should give Flip case with this as it is difficult to get this accessores for lenovo product.Is this review helpful?

The display is very good. Performance is very fast. Battery backup is really superb. The SIM slot is easy to install. Sound quality is also good (with or without headphone). Making calls is also very easy and the clarity is good as well. I found this product very very good indeed and is worth every penny.Is this review helpful?
