Two new Nokia Lumia series smartphones have surfaced online. Running on Windows Phone 8, these new smartphones are Lumia 920 with PureView and Lumia 820.

If the leak turns out to be accurate, the Lumia 920 will be the first PureView smartphone in company's Lumia series. The smartphone is expected to come with 4.5-inch display; however there are no other details available right now. PureView technology famously debuted in the 41-megapixel Nokia 808 and it brings high-resolution photography to smartphones.

The other smartphone to show its face is Lumia 820, which according to reports, is the same smartphone that was leaked as code-name Arrow a few days back. It will feature a 4.3-inch display.

Nokia is holding a press event on September 5 in New York along with Microsoft, and we expect to see these smartphones official unveiled there.

With Samsung already having upstaged Nokia by unveiling the first Windows Phone 8 device in the form of Samsung ATIV S, Nokia is banking heavily on new launches to make a dent in the growing smartphone market.
