Simmtronics Xpad Amazoid M1, Xpad Fundroid Q series budget Android phones launched

Simmtronics has released its Xpad Amazoid and Xpad Fundroid range of budget Android smartphones in the Indian market. The devices launched in the company include Xpad Amazoid M1 and Xpad Fundroid Q1, Xpad Fundroid Q2, Xpad Fundroid Q4 and Xpad Fundroid Q5.

The Simmtronics Xpad Amazoid M1 device is a dual-SIM smartphone running on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS, and will set back a user by Rs. 8,999. It features a 4.7-inch HD touchscreen, and is powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core processor backed by 512MB of RAM. The smartphone also include a 2-megapixel front facing shooter and an 8-megapixel rear camera. Besides 4GB of in-built storage, the smartphone is 3G-enabled with standard Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and radio connectivity features. An 1800mAh battery powers the Xpad Amazoid M1.

The Xpad Fundroid Q1 and Q2, priced at Rs. 3,499 and Rs, 3,999 respectively, are almost similar in features as both share the same dual-SIM compatibility, 1GHz processor with 512MB of RAM, 2-megapixel rear camera, 0.3-megapixel front camera, a 32GB expandable memory storage and a 1400mAh Li-Po battery backup. The Xpad Fundroid Q1 sports a 3.5-inch 'retina' screen, runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread, and includes 4GB of in-built storage. The Xpad Fundroid Q2 features a 4-inch WVGA screen, runs Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS, and has an unspecified of in-built storage.

Coming to the Xpad Fundroid Q4 and Q5 handsets, priced at Rs. 3,499 and Rs. 4,999 respectively, we see they share the same Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, are powered by 1GHz processor, and feature common connectivity (non-3G) options and dual-SIM compatibility. The Xpad Fundroid Q4 sports a 3.5-inch HVGA display with a 2-megapixel primary camera, and an unspecified front-facing camera. It also comes with 256MB of RAM and a 1200mAh battery. The Xpad Fundroid Q5 on the other hand includes a 4-inch capacitive touchscreen, along with a 5-megapixel rear camera, and an unspecified front-facing camera. It comes with 512MB of RAM and a 1400mAh battery capacity.
