Xiaomi Mi 6's toned-down version - Xiaomi Mi 6c - has been spotted earlier, but this time around renders and specification details have surfaced, laying more weight at its imminent launch. Xiaomi Mi 6c price, storage variants, specifications, and design details have been leaked in China, hinting that the launch is near.

The renders and details were spotted on Chinese social site Baidu. The renders show a sleek Xiaomi Mi 6c with the same chamfered edges at the back that are exist on the Mi 6 as well. However, there is no dual camera setup at the back, and only one main sensor is situated at the top left along with the flash module. However, the leak seems to suggest that the black window next to the flash is a secondary camera with a 5-megapixel sensor. The placement of the sensor, so close to the flash, makes us wonder about the legitimacy of these renders.

In any case, the home button is retained, and this is where the fingerprint sensor will be housed presumably. The dual speaker grilles and the USB Type-C port are situated at the bottom edge of the device, while the render sports a White colour variant of the Mi 6c.

The leak also suggests that the Mi 6c will be launched in two variants - the 4GB RAM/64GB storage model is tipped to be priced at CNY 2,000 (roughly Rs. 18,900), and the 6GB RAM/128GB storage model is expected to be priced at CNY 2,500 (roughly Rs. 23,600).

Bezels on all sides have been trimmed, with 2.5mm-wide side bezels and 10mm top bezels. The front display is protected by 2.5D glass, and the Xiaomi Mi 6c is 0.2mm thicker than the Mi 6. Just like the Xiaomi Mi 6, the Mi 6c is also tipped to not have a 3.5mm audio jack. Camera wise, the Xiaomi Mi 6c is expected to support optical image stabilisation and use a Sony IMX386 sensor.

Previous leaks suggest that the Xiaomi Mi 6C may be powered by a 2.2GHz Snapdragon 660 octa-core processor based on a 14nm FinFET process and provides 4K video capture and playback capabilities, and Vulkan API support. It will run on Android 7.1 Nougat, have a 5.1-inch full-HD display, 6GB RAM, and 64GB of storage. The rear camera is expected to be at 12-megapixel, while the front is tipped to be at 4-megapixel.
