Motorola has been slowly adding budget 5G smartphones to its G series over the past year. We recently tested the Moto G51 and were happy with its performance. Motorola has now launched the Moto G71 5G, which is the first smartphone to sport the new Snapdragon 695 SoC in India, and also boasts of a 50-megapixel primary rear camera. So, is the new Moto G71 5G a dependable pick or should you consider the alternatives? I put this smartphone to the test to find out.
Motorola Moto G71 Summary
The Moto G71 5G sports a 6.4-inch AMOLED display with a hole punch. The display has good viewing angles and was bright enough when outdoors. Motorola has managed to keep the weight in check and the relatively compact dimensions make the phone comfortable to use. It has a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner while most of its competition offers a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
The Moto G71 5G is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 SoC and is paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. It also gives you the option to use about 1.5GB of storage as RAM. The phone offered good performance and will suit casual as well as heavy users. The 5,000mAh battery also delivered very good battery life and easily lasted beyond a day of use. Motorola also bundles a 33W charger in the box.
The Moto G71 5G sports a triple camera setup consisting of a 50-megapixel primary camera, an 8-megapixel ultrawide angle and a macro camera. The phone managed good shots during the day with the primary and the ultra-wide-angle camera. It managed good closeups, selfies, and portraits. Lowlight camera performance was average and Night mode was aggressive.

Best in the market!Azmat Arshi (Feb 23, 2022) on FlipkartGood phone compared to the current market value of all the phones in this price range. Everything is balanced. So you can buy this phone. But... I really want to say that mobile phone companies (especially Android os platform) is pushing us to pay huge amount of money for same technology of 5 years back. No improvement in processing speed and security and privacy of the customer. We Indians are being fooled by them as we are going crazy for Megapixel & 456 cameras and useless charging battery speed or huge batteries. We miss main focus on the processor,GPU,display,durability(at least should be 3 years) & OS improvement... Android upgrade is all hipe ... The basic thing is Android security patch which Android denies to provide after 18 months ... Basically pushing us to buy new phone. Final verdict - Indian companies need to develop better phones and Indian own OS or atleast a better UI.Is this review helpful?

As I was a Redmi user before, so I would like to mention few points. This phone doesn't have any 🔴 Sound Recorder 🔴 Gallery 🔴For seeing the daily data usage and internet speed you have to download different application. But the problem I am facing most is the call quality. The microphone's recieving power is not good at all. Otherwise it's performance is great till now. I am very happy with all other things. If the above mentioned points are not necessary for you. And you need a smooth functioning, clean UI Phone. Then definitely you can go for it.
