BSNL Rs. 499 Pack Bundles Detel D1 Feature Phone and Prepaid Connection

Detel Mobiles, an Indian feature phone manufacturer, and Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) have collaborated to provide new bundled offers to users. Users will now be able to avail a Detel D1 mobile along with a BSNL connection for a price of Rs. 499. The offer has gone live from December 23 and is available pan India.

As we mentioned, the Detel D1 feature phone - touted as the 'most economical feature phone' - will be bundled with a BSNL connection for a combined price of Rs. 499. This prepaid pack will offer the user Rs. 103 worth of talktime, with call rates of 15 paisa per minute for all BSNL to BSNL calls. Calls to other networks will be charged at 40 paisa per minute. The pack also gives the user access to personal ring back tone for 28 days.

Detel D1 specifications

The Detel D1 is a single SIM feature phone that sports a 1.44-inch monochrome display. The phone is backed by a 650mAh battery. The Detel D1 has features like torch light, phonebook, FM radio, speaker, and vibration mode.

Commenting on the partnership, Mr. Yogesh Bhatia, MD, S. G. Corporate Mobility (parent company of Detel), said, "India is one of the only places in the world where feature phones still outsell smartphones. Such phones are preferred by a large population either due to its price or its inherent simplicity. This initiative further propels our ideology to bring communication services in the most cost-effective manner."

A spokesperson from BSNL Board said, "We are committed to providing affordable and efficient services to our customers. We aim to strengthen our reach in all the nooks and corners of the country. With this partnership, we aim to tap the untapped section who still feels that owning a phone is a luxury"
