Telecom operator Tata Teleservices has migrated its business in three circles of Mumbai, Maharashtra and Andhra Pradesh to new telecom permits, Unified Licence.

"As per the guidelines announced by the Department of Telecommunications, the UAS licensing regime has been replaced with an umbrella licence called Unified Licence. In view of the above, the company had applied for migration of its UAS licences in Mumbai and Maharashtra for ISP licence to UL," Tata Teleservices (Maharashtra) said in a BSE filing.

TTML has two Unified Access Service licences for Mumbai and Maharashtra Service Area and these expired in September 2017.
