The Vu LED60S8575 Edge LED TV also features Dolby Digital tuned sound and Vu's own A+ grade panel and an ultra-slim bezel. A built-in media player, USB movie support, digital noise reduction, 1.1 pixel mapping and a rated display life of 1,00,000 hours also add to the feature list of the Vu TV. The edge-lit LED-backlit Vu also comes with four HDMI ports and three USB ports, for better device connectivity.
Devita Saraf, CEO, Vu Technologies, said of the new TV, "This is perfect for people who believe in a larger than life entertainment experience. Every product launch adds to our confidence and resolution to offer the best of technology without compromising on the aesthetic aspects of our products."
The new 60-inch TV is Vu's largest full-HD television, although the company does manufacture larger 4K TVs. The new TV can also be upgraded to a Super TV running Mac OSX, Windows 8 or Linux.
At Rs. 92,000, the 60-inch Vu is priced seemingly high for a TV with only a full-HD panel. However, TVs prices increase exponentially with every size increase over 50 inches. Vu's own 65-inch Curved 4K Smart LED TV costs a whopping Rs. 2,50,000, so this TV will be popular among buyers looking for a cost-effective large TV. The Vu 60-inch TV is on sale now through Vu's online and offline channels.
