Xiaomi Mi TV 4 65-inch variant was launched in China last November

Xiaomi Mi TV family in India is getting a larger model on January 10, the company has teased through its social media presence. The new model is speculated to be the Mi TV 4 65-inch variant. At present, Xiaomi has the Mi TV 55-inch variant as the largest Mi TV model in the country. The Chinese giant hasn't revealed any concrete details around its new model. However, it is actively using a #TheBiggerPicture hashtag to hint at the India launch of the Mi TV 4 65-inch model.

As teased through the official Mi TV India Twitter account on Saturday, the new Mi TV model will debut in the country on January 10 at 11 am. Xiaomi has also posted a teaser video through the Mi India Twitter account along with the #TheBiggerPicture hashtag to suggest the launch of the Mi TV 4 65-inch variant.

The arrival of the bigger Mi TV variant could make the competition tougher for companies such as LGSamsung, and Sony that all are offering their large smart TV models in India. Xiaomi already has the legacy of offering competitive pricing through its Mi TV range that could attract a large number of buyers for its new model.

Xiaomi Mi TV 4 65-inch price in India (expected)

As we mentioned, since Xiaomi currently has the Mi TV 4 55-inch variant as the largest model in the country, the Mi TV 4 65-inch variant is expected to debut during the January 10 launch. The 65-inch variant is currently available in China with a price tag of CNY 5,999 (roughly Rs. 60,500). This suggests that the new variant could come to India at a price close to Rs. 60,000 or less.

Xiaomi's Mi TV range in India currently starts at Rs. 12,499 for the 32-inch variant. The company recently dropped the prices of some of its affordable Mi TV models, thanks to a recent reduction in GST rates. The government dropped that the GST rate on TVs and monitors of up to 32-inch screen sizes from the original 28 percent to 18 percent.
