In what can only be described as one of the most celebrated moments in the history of the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), the country's space agency successfully landed its lunar exploration mission on the Moon, a month after it was launched. India is now the first country to land its lander Vikram on the Moon's south pole, and the rover Pragyan will study the surface of the Moon ahead of future missions involving Earth's only natural satellite.
