The Amazon Echo Buds (2nd Gen) goes up against tough competition in the mid-range true wireless segment, but has a big feature in its arsenal - hands-free Alexa voice assistant support. This works very well, allowing the earphones to be used similar to how an Amazon Echo smart speaker works. Hands-free commands work well, and the earphones also have ANC and optional wireless charging on the more expensive variant.

Although sound quality and ANC performance aren't exceptional, the earphones do perform decently enough on these parameters, and Alexa voice assistant support sets these earphones apart. However, tough competition in the space from brands such as OnePlus and Samsung offer options to buyers.
