  Launched in late 2017 This is a power house . If u are buying a Macbook pro you are sure what your needs are that is to edit videos and photos as no other machines could beat this beast at its game other than an iMac ofcourse . Coming on to this specic model I am writing this review in 2020 so I will be comparing it with other microsoft laptops as well . Display Seemless retina display though not 4k does a marvelous job . With almost no bezels this was one of the first models to have cut down the bezels size though it can come close to the huawei mate X or the Dell XPS which come with a crisp 4k bezelless display. Processing power This is a power house when you are editing and rendering videoson the go it can get your job done in no time using iMovie or final cut Pro or Adobe Lightroom you can do it all Ram it comes with a decent r of 8gb. Though sufficient it will not be enough for games but as u know there aren't many games that u can play on a Mac compares to a MS laptop. Handles many apps running the background well , but when u r rendering a video it's resources are hogged its better to leave the MacBook be or else u will see the circle of processing often . Porta comes with two thunderbolt ports though if I were writing this in 2017 i always had complaints as i always had to carry an adaptor bit in 2020 many devices have adopted type c/ thunderbolt (P.s both look the same but speed wise they are different) but only 2 ports on the same side . Storage this is the worst part even in 2017 128 gb was less in 2020 with the Era of 8k this is laughable . Event though this machine can render any video u throw at it there is no room to play around What were u thinking apple . After the system files u only get 107 gb . Comes with a 45 w charger with thia 13 inch model Extemely portable light weight thin Battery life get worse with time It use to give 5 hr on playback and 3 hrs on video editing but now in 2020 it has reduced to 3 to 4 hrs . I am happy there is no gimmicks like touch bar but I miss the finger print sensor as you know Apple is notorious in asking for authentication frequently. Conclusion Processing power awesome Display awesome Battery power usable Storage horrible un bearable Usb Ports u get use to with time. Make a time machine back up . Do as i did Clone the hard disk onto a samsung t5 1tb ssd and run ur mac os from it .. that's the only way Buy this device if u want to edit videos .. or pay little more go for 256 gb avoid touch bar model.
