Angry Birds maker Rovio's next game, Amazing Alex is all set to launch today in the iTunes App Store and Google Play Store.

Rovio had recently teased a small trailer of the game which centres around Alex, a young whiz-kid obsessed with Rube Goldberg's creations. His inspiration leads him to design amazing chain reactions for completing simple tasks such as cleaning up his room or just having fun in his backyard.

Rovio has just released an extended launch trailer of the game that mentions it will feature "awesome physics puzzles", 100 levels and free updates and even allowing gamers to create and share their own levels. This is made possible through an in-built level editor that will allow players to create puzzles using 35 interactive objects. Players can actually test each level before sharing it with others.

Gamers can use objects like darts, balloons, balls and magnets to solve puzzles, which may have more than one right solution. If they master a specific level, they can then share it with their friends. The game will extend to other platforms post its release for iOS and Android.
