As Product Head - Networks, Anshumani will build products that will help the nearly 200,000 healthcare professionals on Practo help connect and communicate amongst themselves, an emailed statement said.

Bhambra was last the co-lead of healthcare investments at Matrix Partners, and has worked at McKinsey and ITC. His expertise belongs in the fields of venture capital, consulting, and operations. He will lead the product team at Practo as Product Head - Prescriptions, to make Practo the go-to app for all health and wellness needs.

Founded in 2008, Practo offers a platform for both patients and doctors to book and confirm appointments. The service raised $30 million in its Series B funding round led by Sequoia Capital and Matrix Partners, to fuel its plans to expand to over 35 cities in India and six countries internationally.

Practo launched a diagnostics search feature this month, which lets patients search for the closest diagnostic center, based on the tests required, and also acquired product outsourcing firm Genii to bolster its team strength. Their service offering also includes Practo Ray, a subscription-based SaaS product that lets medical establishments manage themselves through software.
