In line with Nvidia's recurrent marketing for its immensely popular GeForce series of graphic cards, the company has announced that it is partnering with Ubisoft to give away upcoming Tom Clancy's The Division for free if you purchase a GeForce GTX 900 series card until March 21.

To avail the offer, you can either pick up a GeForce GTX 970, GeForce GTX 980, GeForce GTX 980 Ti graphics card for your PC, or buy a laptop fitted with a GeForce GTX 970M, GeForce GTX 980M, or GeForce GTX 980. Nvidia usually bets on triple-A games that it thinks will drive sales for itself, and it thinks The Division could be a big title when it releases on March 8.

The GeForce GTX 970 or above are premium-level cards starting around Rs. 30,000, and it does beg the question what the demand normally is for such products anyway. But for what it's worth, they are at least in line with the recommended requirements released last month:

The Division had a closed beta towards the end of January, and is now set for an open beta starting Thursday for owners of the Xbox One. Gamers on PlayStation 4 and Windows PC will be able to get on board the beta on Friday, and considering the huge download size) (>25GB), Ubisoft will allow you to preload the game before it's available on your platform of choice.
