Shyam Telecom, the Indian licensee of Motorola Companion Products range, on Wednesday launched the Motorola Earbuds Metal and Earbuds Sports in-ear headphones in India. Both the Motorola in-ear headphones are priced Rs. 999 and the company says that they are targeted at music lovers in the age group of 12-32 years. Shyam Telecom says that the new headphones will be made available through all leading mobile retail outlets, modern trade chains, and e-commerce portals.

Talking first about the Motorola Earbuds Metal, as the name suggests, the in-ear headphones feature a metal build and come with IP54 water resistance rating. The headphones have been described as "Ultra-light" by the company and are said to provide a comfortable experience to the users.

The Motorola Earbuds Metal feature 10mm drivers, in-line mic for hands-free calling, and offer noise-cancellation. These will be made available in four colour choices, i.e. Gold, Rose Gold, Silver, and Matte Black.

On the other hand, the Motorola Earbuds Sports offer the same features as the Earbuds Metal but do not come with a metal build. Notably, the Motorola Earbuds Sports headphones come with a removable ear hook that allows the wearable to stay put when the user is performing a physical activity like running. These are aimed at "fitness lovers who can't resist a deep pumping beat when they workout, and are looking for a lightweight pair of headphones that will remain in their ears," Shyam Telecom said in its release.

Just like the Earbuds Metal, Motorola Earbuds Sports comes in four different colours. However, for this variant, the colour choices are Red, Orange, Slate, and Blue.
