Motorola Edge 70 Fusion was launched in India on Friday. The handset is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset and features a 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate. It carries a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-710 primary rear camera with optical image stabilisation and a 7,000mAh battery with 68W fast charging support. The phone runs on Android 16-based Hello UI and will first be available in a limited early sale window today before wider availability next week.
Motorola Edge 70 Fusion price in India starts at Rs. 26,999 for the 8GB + 128GB variant, while the 8GB + 256GB and 12GB + 256GB variants are priced at Rs. 29,999 and Rs. 32,999, respectively.
Customers can avail of a Rs. 2,000 instant discount on purchases made using HDFC and Axis Bank credit cards, or a Rs. 2,000 exchange bonus on eligible devices. With these offers, the effective starting price comes down to Rs. 24,999.
The handset is offered in Pantone Blue Surf, Pantone Country Air, and Pantone Silhouette colour options. It will be available in an early bird sale today, March 6, between 12pm and 4pm via Flipkart. The open sale will begin on March 12 at 12pm on Flipkart, the Motorola India website, and retail stores across India.
The Motorola Edge 70 Fusion features a 6.78-inch Super HD 1.5K (1,272×2,772 pixels) Extreme AMOLED display with a refresh rate of up to 144Hz, HDR10+ support, and a peak brightness of 5,200 nits. The panel supports 10-bit colour depth and 100 percent DCI-P3 colour gamut and Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protection.
The smartphone is powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset, paired with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of onboard storage. It ships with Android 16-based Hello UI and is promised to receive three OS upgrades and five years of security updates.
For optics, the Motorola Edge 70 Fusion carries a dual rear camera setup led by a 50-megapixel Sony LYTIA 710 sensor with an f/1.8 aperture and optical image stabilisation, alongside a 13-megapixel ultra-wide shooter with a 120-degree field of view that also supports macro photography. It also includes a dedicated 3-in-1 light sensor. It also includes a 32-megapixel front camera for selfies and video calls. The handset supports 4K video recording at 30fps.
The Motorola Edge 70 Fusion includes sensors such as a proximity sensor, ambient light sensor, accelerometer, gyroscope, SAR sensor, magnetometer, and a sensor hub. For security, it offers an in-display fingerprint sensor and face unlock support. The handset is also equipped with dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support.
Motorola packs a 7,000mAh battery in the Edge 70 Fusion with support for 68W TurboPower fast charging. The phone supports dual Nano SIM slots and offers connectivity options including 5G, 4G LTE, 3G, 2G, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 6.0, NFC, GPS, A-GPS, GLONASS, and Galileo. The phone carries IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance and has MIL-STD-810H durability certification. The handset measures 162.76 x 75.60 x 7.99mm and weighs 193g.
