Panasonic Eluga Pure With 2900mAh Battery, Front Flash Launched

After launching the Eluga Pulse and Pure X smartphones in India, Panasonic has now launched the Eluga Pure. The budget device is only available in Taiwan for now, and is priced at TWD 4,990 (roughly Rs. 10,700).

The device has mediocre specifications with a MediaTek processor and a 2900mAh battery. The Panasonic Eluga Pure will be available in Titanium Grey colour option, and is up for pre-orders already. The smartphone will begin shipping from March 27. The device houses the Micro-USB port and the 3.5mm audio jack on the top edge, and the speakers are housed at the back.

As for specifications, the Panasonic Eluga Pure runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow based on the company's skin FitHome UI that offers a one hand operation interface, and supports a Micro-SIM slot. It sports a 5-inch HD (720x1280 pixels) 2.5D curved glass display, and is powered by the 64-bit 1.25GHz MediaTek MT6737 quad-core processor with Mali-T720 GPU and 2GB of RAM. The smartphone offers 16GB of inbuilt storage with the option to expand further via a microSD card slot.

As for optics, the Panasonic Eluga Pure sports a 13-megapixel camera with LED flash, and an 8-megapixel camera with flash support as well for better low-light selfies and video chats. The device packs a 2900mAh battery, and offers connectivity options like 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, and GPS.

The Panasonic Eluga Pure's dimensions are at 152x76.8x8.9mm, and the smartphone weighs 160 grams. There is no word on the smartphone's international availability yet.
