Friends of Tosha Thakkar, the Indian girl who was assaulted and murdered in Australia on March 9, have created a Facebook page to gather support for her. More than 5,000 people have already registered on the page.
The creators of the page strongly condemn the killing and go on to say that, "Just please keep up with this support until the murderer, Daniel Stani-Reginald gets the highest level of punishment! It is ridiculous that he already had two rape cases against his name but he (was) out there free."
They will be posting updates of the case on the page and have asked for support from netizens till the killer is punished. The page says, "Please invite your friends to support this page and please click 'attending' just to show your support for Tosha."
Members of the social network have responded with prayer for the young girl and not anger towards the killer. One of comments on the page says, "May god serve justice to her and she may Rest in Peace."
