  I like everything about it - the strobe lights, extra bass and you can also change the flash lights' pattern with songpal app. But yeah, don't expect it to run for 24 hours with full sound, extra bass and the flash lights on.

  I love this little bluetooth speaker. It has GREAT sound for such a small unit.There is much to love about this. It's rugged design stands up to me kids abuse and it is water-resistant. It is small enough to slip into a bag and take on the go. It has great sound and volume, and I love the "extra bass" feature. The battery lasts a long time, or you can leave it plugged in. It can be paired with other speakers and it has an audio in. It was very easy to set up and i didn't have any trouble with bluetooth connectivity on any of my devices.I quick note about the flashing colored lights. My kids love it. They are all about the lights. My migraine-prone head does not like the flashing lights. Fortunately, you can turn OFF the lights by holding down the "extra bass" button. If you don't like the lights, simply turn it off.There is also an app (SongPal) that goes with this, but I was unable to use it. I found it easily in the Apple app store, but my iPhone has very little storage on it so I don't have any music there. While it says there is an android app, I couldn't find one in the Kindle app store, so I haven't been able to try out the app.One other thing worth noting. I am occasionally called upon to speak at different meetings. I have a lapel mic that connects to my iPhone. If I have that connected to my phone and this speaker with me, I have my own little on-the-go PA system. Its compact size makes this ideal to have as a back-up sound system.

  I have the grey version. It sounds great. I love the bass even without the extra bass turned on. I also love the color and the feel of the material housing. It is great quality. The stereo sound is fantastic. I never liked mono sounding speakers.

  I tend to be the kind of person who doesn't pay attention to good quality sound. I don't feel like I can really appreciate the difference between good sound and great sound. The Sony XB30 Portable Wireless Speaker has proven to be the exception. I have had this speaker for a few weeks now, and I also have an inexpensive speaker that I have used up to this point. The sound from this speaker is so rich and clear. It really fills up the room, even at a low volume. The extra bass also sounds fantastic! It really enhances my listening experience, especially with certain songs. I have found the lights feature to be a fun detail, but probably not something I will use very often. There are many different choices in light color and light pattern - all of which are accessed through an easy to use app. I'm not a fan of the flashing lights, though I know others will be. The light patterns that fade in and out are more to my liking. I can see that having multiple speakers connected would be amazing! Up to 10 speakers can be connected - both sound and lights. It is nice that the speaker is water resistant as well, especially if you plan to use it outside. It will stand up to rain or splashes from the pool. This speaker is truly a high quality product that all should enjoy.
