Sony is well known for its mid-range soundbars, and its latest product, the Sony HT-S40R 5.1-channel soundbar speaker system, promises a lot for Rs. 29,990.

The Sony HT-S40R is a soundbar speaker system, or home theatre system that is unique in its form. Although the core of the setup is a soundbar and subwoofer, the package also includes a rear-speaker system with two speakers and a wireless amplifier. The system offers a proper 5.1--channel surround sound experience, as a result.

Priced at Rs. 29,990, the home theatre system isn't as feature-filled, with no support for Dolby Atmos. However, there are plenty of connectivity options, support for Dolby 5.1-channel audio, and a dedicated remote. Although heavy on the wiring, this is a good system to consider if you have a mid-range budget and want a boost to your sound.

Mindblowing and soothing to your ear.

Absolutely loving this product. Sony is Sony. They?ll never disappoint you.For some reason, I expected the surround sound to travel smoothly but I guess that happens in Dolby Atmos unless I?m missing on some settings.But over all very very happy with the product output.
