Microsoft India has tied up with Amazon India to provide a limited-time offer on Surface Pro 4 Core M. As per the offer, consumers can buy the Surface Pro 4 variant for just Rs. 58,890 in exchange for any old laptop or tablet (in working condition), including MacBook and iPad, the company said in a release on Thursday.

The company has specified that the Type Cover, which transforms the tablet into Laptop, is not included in the offer.

In order to avail this offer, customers have to purchase Microsoft Surface Pro 4 Core M from Amazon.in and then enter their order ID as well as details of the device that they want to exchange with company's partner Reglobe's website.

"Once the details are verified, consumers will get a notification on the exchange value of the old device as per partner's evaluation and an additional cash bonus of Rs. 20,000," the company said in its emailed statement.

Microsoft launched the Surface Pro 4 in January in India starting at Rs. 89,990. The company tied up with Amazon to sell the device exclusively for the first six months of its release.

In our review of the tablet, we termed Microsoft Surface Pro 4 as "impressive Windows tablet" but also pointed out that although the power and portability of this laptop are both impressive, but it perhaps falls short of delivering that something extra to justify its hefty price tag.
