Excelent cost-benefit in terms of hardware included and price. Light weight 5 inch notebook, which was a priority for me, and a relatively powerful system for different uses. In my case, mostly for work.

I have bought 3 of these now. One was for my wife, one for a theater group I work with and one for my sister in law. They are very nice laptop. With the SSD they boot really fast and they are not loaded with bloatware like the laptops you get from big box stores. The screen is fantastic and has gotten better in the one year since I bought the older model. The speakers are the best laptop speakers I've ever heard (but they're still laptop speakers....).

So far it's great. With light use, I can make it through a whole day without bringing my charger.Pros:For its price, it performs really well.I can get well over 5-6 hours of use out of it if I'm not doing anything too demanding.If I'm doing heavy gaming, it'll still last about an hour on battery.Nice and lightweight. It also looks quite pretty.Keyboard and trackpad feel great. It doesn't hurt my fingers by overusing the trackpad, and the keyboard is nice to type on.Lid lifts mostly with 1 finger.Cons:Poor thermal performance. Under any significant CPU load, it shoots up to the high 70s or higher. It thermal throttles if you use high CPU and GPU at the same time. It gets reeeeally hot.It's hard to get into. There are screws under the rubber feet, so you have to take them out to get under the lid. The adhesive will come off if you take the feet out too many times.It's a tad bendy. Not too flimsy, but it's not the sturdiest laptop in the world.

Amazing

Doesn't have a 10-key pad. I didn't realize that and I need it for work, so I was very disappointed. Everything else rocks tho. Its beautiful, sleek, super light weight for easy travel. Even tho its missing that it makes up for it in every other way.

I really like my new computer. I bought it February 4 and it is April 9 now. So far no issues. Battery life is really great. The computer starts up in like 3 seconds flat. I also really love the slim design and how light it is. They kind of made it look like a mac too, which I like. Definitely worth the money. My boyfriend also has an Asus and his is still going strong about 7 years later. I am expecting to have my Asus for a long time as well. Good investment.

So far a beautiful laptop! Processor is blazing fast, wifi has great signal, and the MX150 is plenty sufficient for less demanding games on medium and Photoshop, which is all I need. Backlit keyboard is a nice bonus, and personally I don't notice the flex many report on the board. For the price, it's a well-rounded laptop. Only note to make is that it does indeed not have a fingerprint sensor, even though the product website on Asus states it does.

Fantastic product, led me to buy the level up which cost me a tad bit more but Asus is without a question the best.

Beautiful machine, here. I normally use it for music production, video and photography editing. Gaming is great as well, but normally play world of warships and other games with similar requirements.

Awesome little laptop. Took me less than an hour to install Ubuntu 18.04 LTS Linux and get most of my data moved over. It boots up very fast and everything works as its suppose on Ubuntu 18.04 Linux. I never even fired up the Windows 10. Windows was deleted within a few minutes of opening the box.

Wife loves it

Decent build quality, i fell off my bike at ~30mph and the laptop only sustained minimal damage. I was able to bend it back to straight by hand. Once it was straight again, bending by hand became difficult.Screen has had no issues, and battery life is excellent.Performance is as described.

Three weeks in, and I am still impressed with all aspects of this unit. I am not the tech expert, so I am not going to bore you with details of processors, video cards, etc.I will tell you why I bought this and why it is great for me. I started a career in real estate after my previous career. I carried an Android tablet with me, and I was in one facility all day 12-15 hours. I could easily plug in. I needed more power, and a battery that would last. Many comments and reviews for this unit if you are not graphic intensive (gaming, graphic arts, etc.) this battery will do wonders. Follow the recommended battery practices. My records of Firefox and Office use straight so far is 9.33 hours between charges. Exactly what I needed!My second need was a laptop that would not need to be replaced in two years. This is the fasted computer I've ever owned. Ive seen zero lag when I am running it hard (this does effect the battery some), but zero lag, zero graphic issues, etc. I'm sure the computer experts can explain better, but my research showed me this is a newer I7, while many comparatively priced laptops have I5 or older generations i7s.The price was perfect as well. I'm not sure if this was BTC pricing or not, but wow.Everything and much much more then what I expected. Great laptop!

Love it! Great quality with reasonable price. The functions of PS and CSP have mostly no delay on this device. It can run Kingdomcome Deliverance in LOW graphic quality well.Light, I take it to school and travel. buttery is good, more than 5 hours in average use. BUT only about 1 hour or less in gaming. Don?t forget to plug in before gaming ok it.😅I bought it because my old laptop is super miserable when it runs any games. And I am in other country but not my home, so no computer available! It is good in multiple functions. But the fan is a little bit loud lol

Smart one

Always a fan of Asus. This hasn't disappointed. Super lightweight for the features packed inside.

The battery life really isnt that bad. People make it seem so much worse.

This laptop is awesome. Light weight, good screen, great size, can run some games. Buy the extra ram for power. Can be a little dificult to open, but you won't regret buying this computer. It also has solid built. No thunderbolt.

Using it as a design machine for graphic work. It's fabulous. The laptop is light, fast and good looking. It's a good workhorse. 1TB drive with 8GB RAM and a strong i7 CPU. The only catch is that this sleek machine has no optical drive. In case you miss that there are external optical drives you can buy for less than $40 if you need one.

As a college student, I've been on the search for a lightweight, portable, but efficient laptop. I have always wanted an Asus laptop and I'm glad I went with the vivobook. I wish the trackpad didn't lag so much and it could certaintly be wider/bigger w/ all the extra space. Highly recommend.
