This laptop is an absolute beast!!!!I am running Planetside2 on Ultra AND I turned on EVERYTHING...smoothing, fog shadows, ambient occlusion, bloom enabled, even motion blur!!! Zero lag 60+fps!!!I am not kidding!!! The screen is absolutely stunning! The 256gb solid state is super fast. There are zero moving parts inside this laptop!!! Windows 10 is running from the SSD so basically even web browsing is like 10 times faster than normal.You will be super proud as I am to own one of these. The fire in Planetside2 is so bright that I literally jumped back! The screen is so amazing!Anyway, as of October 8 when I purchased this on Amazon it is a brand spanking new model. Did I mention it even has a 6 core i7 intel processor??!!Buy this beast and experience games in Ultra like never before!!! I promise!!!

My intent for this laptop was to replace an aging desktop. I didn't want to sink money into an old desktop anymore. This has been a good replacement. I am using this for C++ development (wanted the 8750 for fast parallel compilation). I am also using it for games.I play modded minecraft, but this laptop cannot run a recent large modded minecraft pack as it just doesn't have enough ram out of the box. I intend to add another 16GB to help with this.This computer does run Space Engineers very well at 1920x1080 on high settings for most settings. I noticed a delay when running at 3840x2160 and some screen tearing. This is on a 43" HDMI TV at 30Hz update rate. I hardly use the laptops screen at all.For compiling program and development this is great. It compiles very fast and does parallel compilation very well. This is one of the main reasons why I got it. My desktop had 8 cores and I didn't want a downgrade. Having 12 cores logical is very nice (6x2 because of hyperthreading).The size of the harddrive is a little low as the SSD is only 256GB. I do intend to upgrade to a 1TB PCIe drive soon (M.2?). I tested the SSD and it operates at 500GB per second for read/write. I used Crystal Disk Mark 6.0.2 for this test. The PCIe I am planning to get has a 2GB read/write and that is part of the reason for the upgrade.I do plan on adding a 16GB ram chip as I stated before I want to run fully modded minecraft and other memory hog apps as well.I knew the drive and memory were on the low side, but getting larger sizes of these in a laptop from the manufacturer pushed me into the 1100 to 1200 dollar range on price. I can upgrade myself for a better price. At the time I bought this it was $799 which was a great deal. Thank you for that.Picture quality on the laptop screen and external screen is very good. I also use this with a dvd usb player and GOT looks great.I am giving a 5 star rating because I have not run into anything I didn't expect when buying this. I knew what it had in it, what it could do, and it is doing as expected. I did NOT expect it to run Space Engineers at 3840x2160 at all, yet it did. So the graphics card is not bad at all. I don't recommend that setting as it tears a bit and is noticeably delayed on response.I have seen some comments in here on what this has in it that were not correct. This laptop has an SSD and it is reported as such by the benchmarking programs.I have not given a specific rating for the battery life. I have not used it as a portable very much.

Works nicely, I gave it to my gf as a xmas gift.

We use this laptop primarily for Internet, videos, and Gaming. The screen is responsive, clear, bright, and with great colors. The speakers and sound quality are particularly good. We also like the look and material finish of the laptop. The built in mouse pad is particularly quick and responsive. We would buy a second one, and I can definitely recommend it.

The computer is super fast and has amazing clarity on the monitor. But there is no storage. I can?t even load iTunes on it. My husband bought it for me and he wasn?t paying attention to how small it is. Definitely will need to upgrade.

Love everything except the battery life

So far, it's worked great. I like that it doesn't get hot when it's on for an extended period of time.

El tiempo de entrega fue muy rápido, decia que en 9 días y llegó en 4, en perfectas codniciones, tambien me incluyó dos juegos que no sabía que vendrían, la lap la usó para software de diseño y sin ser la mas poderosa se defiende bastante, estoy muy contento con el funcionamiento.

Llevo cerca de una semana con esta laptop. Buen precio. No he tenido ningun problema. Me ha encantado y creo que ha sido la mejor compra que hecho. Hay muchas reseñas que dicen que le falta a esta laptop cosas, pero yo diria que se puede expandir. Por ejemplo: la instalacion de las unidades de almacenamiento es muy sencilla, por lo que tambien lo es de las memorias RAM.

Added 8gb more ram and Added Crucial MX500 500GB 3D NAND SATA 2.5 Inch Internal SSD - CT500MX500SSD1(Z) and replaced the 450mbs 256gb ssd c drive with crucial 500gb nvme pcie drive as another user mentioned. Cloned drive didnt boot so I reset the pc with the cloned recovery partition. Now im at 2000mbs or 5600 with crucials caching on. So it is insanely fast now. And was fast to begin with. For a few more benjamins you can make this 899 laptop into a 1500 laptop.Was not happy box was opened though. Amazon offered a return or replacement but due to time constraints i opted for a $30 refund. As the laptop still looks like new.

Estaba dudoso al principio de si comprarla o no y ahora que ya tengo bastante tiempo a mi parecer con la maquina no me ha dejado insatisfecho en su rendimiento, la capacidad de multi tasking es impresionante, los ventiladores en modo turbo atenuan bastante bien el calor mientras se está ocupando al 80% el CPU, son algo molestos en el ruido pero hacen su trabajo, la pantalla tiene una buena bisagra, buena definición pero no es lo más impresionante del mundo (lo justo entre calidad y precio), el sonido es estándar pero no tiene problemas para intensificar la salida con unos buenos altavoces, la batería dura bastante y tiene un modo de prolongación para personas como yo que viven con el cargador puesto; la calidad del armazón es muy buena y no se siente plasticosa gracias al acabado ejecutivo, las teclas se sienten muy bien aunque no son silenciosas no se tiene ningun problema con ellas ni su retroiluminación. Puntos negativos serían la falta de sockets de facil remoción para bateria o SDD (hay que quitar toda la tapa inferior), se ensucia con facilidad y el marco de la pantalla se siente muy fragil a mi gusto, el mouse pad a veces tiende a disminuir en su sensibilidad como parte del modo de ahorro de bateria y poco sensible a la presión de los botones (mismos que se sienten duros), se soluciona con un mouse externo.En fin, 9/10 en relación precio/rendimiento. Tiene detalles muy tecnicos y quisquillosos para los conocedores de este tipo de equipos pero en la generalidad volvería a comprar esta maquina respecto a otras de la misma gama en el mercado.

Excelente producto

Es excelente la versión de i7 con 1050 Ti. Tiene poca memoria y poco disco duro (250g en M2) pero tiene capacidad de ssd adicional; los acabados son muy buenos, si bien es plástico, es de excelente calidad. El teclado es cómodo. LA pantalla es excelente.Es ligera para una laptop de características gamming; la ventilación, es muy buena, con ventilas encima del teclado.Lo único que no me gusto, es que el touchpad esta un poco desplazado y me costo acostumbrarme.
