• Powerful and Compact Ultrabook

  Extremely fast and capable Ultrabook. Boots into Windows in about 5 seconds. Very pleased with the speed and capability of the machine. NVMe SSD is also very nice to have. Fingerprint sensor works about 3/4 of the time. WiFi card kept disabling itself for some reason, you have to go into device manager->network devices->power management to fix this problem. Considered sending it back because of the fingerprint sensor error and the WiFi disconnect, but an update fixed both of those problems for the most part. Fan is quite noisy at times, but I don't really mind at all because I use headphones mostly when using this device. Battery life is not great, which is to be expected in a form factor this small. I usually average about 6-7 hours on a full charge using Visual Studio and browsing the web. If you use the built in Battery-Saver feature on balanced mode you could probably squeeze another couple hours out of the machine. Overall a very capable computer, and I absolutely love how compact and portable it is.

  I bought this netbook for my younger brother for Christmas (He's 36 years old). He's had it for a little over a month now so I think it's safe to put in my review on his behalf. He mentions almost daily how fast it is, how good the touchpad is, how nice it is that it literally fits in an envelope (seriously, it comes with a little leather envelope to keep it in) It was pricey, but compared to a MacBook, it's a bargain, and no MacBook can come close to matching these specs.Keep in mind: This is not a gaming rig, it's passable for some games, but don't expect to be playing the latest game at 60fps on this. It's super thin, weighs 2 lbs, and still has a large SDD (On top of separate storage for the OS) I spent comical amounts of money on my gaming rig, including insanely fast storage right on my mother board for the OS, and this netbook starts up faster than my rig. That's despite being packed with factory bloatware, where my rig has none to run. I was impressed as well with how quickly it opens any program.The one I got was blue, and the spun aluminum finish really pops with the dark color, it's a bit more prone to fingerprints than silver, but my brother is a neat freak so he never has oily/dirty hands so it's a non-issue.

• Wonderful design and high performance

  I love this little laptop. It weighs only a couple of pounds, is so easy to carry around, and performs really well. Love the 16 gigs of RAM and i7 processor. The screen is crisp. The SSD drive and battery are replaceable. The only cons I can think of are the keyboard, which doesn't provide a lot of feedback, and the case material which makes fingerprints very visible on the blue model. But these are small complaints. I use mine everyday and really enjoy it.
