About Central Park Season 1 Web Series

The hilarious Tillerman family serve as caretakers for New York’s iconic Central Park — although on paper, Mr. Owen (Leslie Odom Jr.) is the official go-to person.

His wife, Mrs. Paige (Kathryn Hahn) is a journalist stuck in a not-so-serious job, who aspires to get into investigative journalism someday.

Their daughter Molly (Kristen Bell) doodles comics — when she gets time from dealing with the aspects of her biracial identity — and their son Cole (Tituss Burgess) wears his heart on the sleeves.

The sweet little world of Tillermans shatters when they discover that a diminutive billionaire called Bitsy Brandenham (Stanley Tucci) wants to commercialise Central Park and use the space for erecting malls, eating joints, and complexes. The Tillermans begin the mission of saving Central Park immediately.

The musical is narrated by Birdie (Josh Gad) who breaks the fourth wall. It also touches upon the subjects of governmental corruption, corporate greed, real estate scams, and the indefensible class divide — all wrapped in laughs and musical notes.
