About Lucknow Central Movie (2017)

Kishen Mohan Girhotra (Farhan Akhtar) gets wrongly accused of murder and ends up in Uttar Pradesh?s Lucknow Central Jail. While awaiting his High Court trial for the death penalty, he is also desperately looking out for a way to break free. Meanwhile, a music band competition is announced in Lucknow Central in close collaboration with Gayatri Kashyap (Diana Penty), a diligent NGO worker. Viewing the competition as his only ticket to freedom, Girhotra decides to participate. He forms a band with four fearsome inmates - Dikkat Ansari (Inaamuhaq), Victor Chattopadhyay (Deepak Dobriyal), Purushottam Pandit (Rajesh Sharma), and Parminder Gill (Gippy Grewal). The rest of the plot chronicles their musical endeavour and how the competition affects their respective lives.
