About The Essex Serpent TV Series

Newly widowed Cora (Claire Danes) is finally free from an abusive marriage and relocates to the small village of Aldwinter, Essex from Victorian London. Here, she investigates a local superstition that a mythical creature known as the Essex Serpent has returned to the area. In the course, she bonds with the village vicar Will Ransome (Tom Hiddleston) while locals accuse her of attracting the creature. Based on the novel of the same name by Sarah Perry.
