First Xbox Play Anywhere Games Now Up for Pre-Orders

Microsoft’s cross-platform single-buy service, Xbox Play Anywhere, has gotten its first set of pre-orders starting with ReCore, Forza Horizon 3, and Gears of War 4. You can now buy all three of those titles from the Windows Store, with your purchase allowing you to play them on both Windows 10 and Xbox One.

“When you buy an Xbox Play Anywhere digital game through the Xbox Store or the Windows Store, it’s yours to play on both Xbox One and Windows 10 PC at no additional cost,” Will Tuttle, editor-in-chief of Xbox Wire, wrote on the website. “Plus, when you start playing any Xbox Play Anywhere game, you can pause and pick back up where you left off on another Xbox One or Windows 10 PC, bringing all your saves, game add-ons, and Achievements with you.”

ReCore doesn’t have any special editions or pre-order bonuses. The game is available at pre-order for Rs. 3,324, and will be playable midnight on September 13 in North America, Latin America, and India, September 15 in Japan and September 16 for EMEA.

Forza Horizon 3 is available in three different editions. The Standard Edition is just the game, and costs Rs. 3,999. The Deluxe Edition, coming it at Rs. 5,049, gives you Forza Horizon 3 Motorsport All-Stars and Forza Horizon 3 VIP membership, which nets you the 2016 Lamborghini Aventador LP750-4 SV, 2016 Koenigsegg Regera, 2015 Ferrari F12tdf, 2015 Ultima Evolution Coupe 1020, and 2015 Ford Falcon GT F 351, with more benefits after release. Both the Standard and Deluxe editions will unlock midnight on September 27 worldwide, and September 29 in Japan.

The Ultimate Edition, at Rs. 6,699, also gets you Forza Horizon 3 Car Pass, which will give you a total of 42 cars from October 2016 to March 2017. This version of the game will be available a full four days before launch, midnight on September 23 everywhere except Japan.

If you pre-order Gears of War 4, you’ll get the full game along with the Gears of War 4 “Brothers to the End” and Vintage Del Elite Gear Packs for Rs. 3,999. You can also opt for the Ultimate Edition for Rs. 6,699, which covers the cost of Gears of War 4 Season Pass in addition to the two mentioned previously. Gears of War 4 launches October 11 worldwide, and October 7 if you choose Ultimate Edition.
