The Star Wars Battlefront 2 beta is free for all on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. No invites, no pre-orders, and none of the usual shady practices to force you to check it out. Simply download it on the day.
However, if you must play the Star Wars Battlefront 2 beta before everyone else, you can do so by pre-ordering the game on PS4, Xbox One, or PC. Doing so will let you play it two days earlier.
If you’ve pre-ordered Star Wars Battlefront 2, you can play it from October 4. But if you don’t feel like paying upfront, the Star Wars Battlefront 2 beta will be accessible from October 6.

Surprisingly, EA will not let players preload the Star Wars Battlefront 2 beta. Odd considering that would allow those with slower download speeds to get it on time.
On PC Star Wars Battlefront 2 beta download size is 22.8GB while the PS4 Star Wars Battlefront 2 beta download size is 15.3GB, and the Xbox One Star Wars Battlefront 2 beta download size is 13.2GB.
