Aloha! Say hello to Gmail's amazing new automatic translation
Google has announced the addition of three new features to Gmail today including automatic message translation.

With the help of this feature, Gmail users can now translate foreign language e-mails into their native language. For example, if you get an email in Bengali and want to read it in your native language, then all you need to do is click on the "Translate Message" option, which is available in the header at the top of the message. To skip the extra step of clicking on "Translate Message" option, users can activate automatic translation in the preferences.

This feature was earlier part of the Gmail Labs. As it was one of the most popular lab products, it has now been graduated to the main version. Gmail Labs houses experimental new features.

Apart from this, company has also moved Smart Mute from Labs to the main version.  Google claims that a few improvements have been added to this feature and it's now available for all users.  Gmail users can keep away noisy email threads by muting them.

In order to enhance the user experience, Google has the improved the page-title of Gmail pages. From now on, your browser tab will show "Inbox (20) - user@example.com - Gmail" rather than "Gmail - Inbox (20) - user@example.com." This is particularly helping in identifying the open Gmail messages in other tabs.

While some cools features have been added to Gmail, Google has also retired some labs apps, such as Old Snakey, Mail Goggles, Mouse Gestures, Hide Unread Counts, Move Icon Column, Inbox Preview, Custom Date Formats and SMS in Chat gadget.
