India Funding Roundup: Gingercrush, Delight Foods, RenewBuy, Skoov, GymTrekker

Gingercrush
Vadodara-based Gingercrush, an on-demand platform for customising licensed products, has reportedly secured $1 million (roughly Rs. 6.6 crores) in angel funding from former Infosys board member TV Mohandas Pai. Gingercrush offers customised prints for t-shirts, mugs, and other merchandise, and has licences for more than 85 brands.

Delight Foods
Bengaluru-based Delight Foods, which provides online delivery of selected branded food across India, has reportedly raised Rs. 4 crores in its second round of funding. Money raised will be used to facilitate expansion plans of the startup, which sources its products from 12 cities across the country.

Renewbuy
Gurgaon-based online motor insurance comparison provider Renewbuy has reportedly raised $500,000 (roughly Rs. 3.3 crores) in an angel round of funding led by Singapore-based Mount Nathan Advisors Pte Ltd.

The portal, run by the Delhi-based D2C Consulting Services Pvt Ltd, was co-founded in 2014 by Balachander Sekhar and Indraneel Chatterjee, and claims to have served 450 car owners this month.

Skoov
Mumbai-based Skoov Technologies Pvt Ltd has reportedly raised $150,000 (roughly Rs. 1 crore) in funding from an undisclosed investor for Skoov.com, an e-commerce products search platform. Skoove has reportedly just begun talks with institutional investors for a Series A round of $3 million (roughly Rs. 20 crores).

GymTrekker
Talwalkars Better Value Fitness has reportedly picked up a 19 percent stake in the online fitness and health discovery platform GymTrekker for an undisclosed amount. Founded in 2014, the startup lists Gyms in Mumbai, Pune and Bengaluru, claims to have 3,500 fitness centres on its platform, and lets the user filter through based on amenities and type of exercise activity.
