Just a day after revealing its plans for Junior, the web browser for iPad, Mozilla team has now introduced Thimble, a web based code-editor for laymen.

Made for any and every one, Thimble makes it easy to create and share webpages and other projects. It includes a visual editor that allows you to edit HTML right in the browser, check the previews and fix errors. Learning to code is no longer a pre-requisite and novices can choose from already existing templates to start building webpages right away.

Thimble has a traditional code editor on the left and the right window shows instant previews. Clearly meant for novice users, Thimble will prove useful in getting the basics for HTML and CSS.

Mozilla has also launched new webmaker.org, the new site houses projects to help users with Thimble and other web making tools like Popcorn and X-Ray Goggles.
