I bought this as I wanted something powerful that was also portable and light to carry. I bought the keyboard that goes with it, which is vital for using it like a computer. Didn't get the docking station.I love this Surface, it's fast and responsive, and it's very compact and easy to transport. The battery life lasts for quite a while just using basic functions such as MS Office tools and surfing the web. I haven't tried it yet with more power intense applications like Photoshop and Adobe Premier, but I assume it will last less long with these tools as they use more processing power. All in all very happy with this purchase and the performance. It was more than a standard laptop, but the portability, reviews, and processor/memory specs were better and more robust.

If you are here to decide whether to buy a surface or no, don't hesitate. i thru my laptop away and have been using this on the go all the time and inside my house. I use it for Autocad, Photoshop, Illustrator and as a media consumption device.

Came with Windows 10 Pro, so could activate Windows. Had a time getting that fixed but customer support got me there.Unit is great, fast, very portable and all the other things my friends said it would be. Refurbished Surface Pro 6, i7, 8/256gb, refurbished mouse, keyboard and dock. Ordered another set for wife. About $2600.I am Realtor, she owns small financial service company.Get Office 365 with it, store all in cloud, enjoy max flexibility. Power deal.

Product as described. Bought Engineering student. Only problem was we received wrong color but otherwise extremely happy with tablet. Very happy with price.

This was a special promotion just before christmas that included a type cover so I bought a pen separately and now it came without a type cover!!! Really... I bought it for my wife as a christmas gift and wrapped it immediately...thinking that it will be in the box with the surface pro, well it was not!!

WiFi is a serious issue. How do you spend almost $1k on a computer and the wifi doesn't work out of the box?! Ridiculous.UPDATE: Contacted Microsoft and they indicated that both computers sold to me were previously purchased in May. I just received them in July. He said it was pretty suspicious to get 2 SurfacePro 6 with WiFi and blue screen/RAM issues out of the box. Contacted Amazon for assistance with refund. I will have to wait 2 weeks for a refund.

NOT WHAT IS ADVERTISED AS. Ordered a black Microsoft Surface Pro 6 Intel Core i7 8GB RAM 256GB. I Recieved a PLATINUM MICROSOFT SURFACE PRO 6 Intel Core i5.

No problem with the tablet itself but I find it deceptive to place the ?type cover? so close to the tablet and not make it more clear (larger print maybe) that it is considered an ?accessory? to be purchased separately. I wanted a laptop. Not a tablet. I feel it was displayed as a laptop.
