Dual-SIM Android devices seem to be the flavor of the month. Micromax has launched another contender for this category - Micromax A50 Superfone Ninja.

The Micromax A50 is competitively priced at Rs. 4,999. Another interesting add on in this handset is a voice assistant, which Micromax calls AISHA (Artificial Intelligence Speech Handset Assistant). Micromax plans to integrate AISHA with all its phones.

Micromax A50 does have an edge over Spice Mi 280 as it offers AISHA, which is a unique feature for a handset at this price point. Apart from that, it also has a better processor (650 MHz verses the 600 MHz in Spice) and a bigger 1200 mAh battery as opposed to Spice's 1000 mAh battery. Having said that, Spice Mi 280 has a better camera resolution at 3.2MP, while Micromax A50 has a 2 MP one.

The Mi 280 is significantly lighter than the Micromax A50, and perhaps a better fit in your hand thanks to the smaller size. Overall, it's a pretty close call between the two, and down perhaps to individual choice - would you rather have AISHA (which works reasonably well) and a bigger battery or a lighter phone with a better camera.
