An analyst has claimed that Apple may refresh the Apple Watch in June at its annual developer conference - WWDC. In addition, new details about the next iPhone have emerged, claiming a better battery than previous generations as well as a thinner body.

Analyst Brian White has issued his research notes (via MacRumors) with predictions through 2016. White predicts that the Apple Watch successor may bear a 20 to 40 percent thinner body than the current offering. He adds that Apple's WWDC conference can take place through June 13 to 17 and will have the iconic Moscone West in San Francisco as the venue. It's worth noting that Apple is yet to confirm dates as well as venue for its annual WWDC conference this year.

"Finally, we walked away with the sense that the Apple Watch refresh will not occur in September with the iPhone 7, but is more likely to occur within the next 2-3 months, and thus we believe an unveiling at WWDC in June makes sense. We believe Apple Watch 2 could be 20-40 percent thinner than the current Apple Watch," noted the research note. Previous reports have suggested that Apple is expected to significantly improve the battery life in the Apple Watch 2.

Citing people familiar with the matter, White added that the 5.5-inch iPhone 7 will feature a dual-camera setup. The next iPhones have been rumoured to feature dual-camera setup that was tipped by an alleged iPhone 7 cover case featuring massive cut out for the rear camera. White claims that the iPhone 7 production will begin in July.

In the meanwhile, Digital Trends in a report tipped new details on the alleged iPhone 7. The report says that the new iPhone 7 will feature same aesthetics as the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6s. Apple is said to cut down on the thickness of the iPhone 7 from the current 7.1mm seen on the iPhone 6s. It says Apple could cut down the thickness to 6-6.5mm. The report adds that the iPhone 7 antennas may finally get a refresh and run only at the bottom of the handset rather than the entire rear, as seen on the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6s.

In a separate leak, the battery pack of the iPhone 7 has been purportedly leaked revealing the details. According to the leaked image, the iPhone 7 may house a 7.04 watt-hour battery which means it will be larger than the 7.01 watt-hour battery seen on the iPhone 6s Plus. The leaked image was posted by a Chinese site. The dual-camera setup of the iPhone 7 has been spotted in a purported image leaked by another Chinese website. As rumoured, the iPhone 7 is seen featuring a dual-camera sensor with antennas placed on the bottom side of the handset.

The above leak should be taken with a pinch of salt as Apple has not mentioned anything about the upcoming devices and the leaks legitimacy remains questionable.
