While we've seen numerous BlackBerry Passport leaks and rumours in the recent past, a handful of images showing the BlackBerry Classic, expected to be called the Q20, have appeared online. Another leak also showcased purported camera samples from the smartphone.

In the first set of leaked images, an alleged BlackBerry Classic smartphone can be seen compared with the BlackBerry Q10, BlackBerry 9900, as well as BlackBerry Porsche Design P9981.

The leaked images show the BlackBerry Classic with its traditional hardware buttons, similar to those we have already seen on other QWERTY-based BlackBerry smartphones.

The images, posted on Weibo by DT BlackBerry (via CrackBerry), fail to give details about the smartphone's specifications. However, CrackBerry speculates a November launch alongside the release of BB10 OS version 10.3.1, and notes expected specifications to include 3.5-inch display, a 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor, and 2GB of RAM.

Notably, last month the BlackBerry Q20 Classic also appeared on the company's leaked roadmap but without any release date.

In the meanwhile, another leak showcases purported BlackBerry Classic camera samples - once again leaked on Weibo (via BBin) - in comparison with the BlackBerry Q10. Looking at the purported samples, the BlackBerry Classic's camera does seem to be better than the one phone on its predecessor, as is to be expected.

On the other hand, the BlackBerry Passport is expected to be officially launched on September 24. The firm last week sent invites to an event in Dubai, London and Toronto on September 24. While the company did not mention anything on the invite, it did mention "See The Bigger Picture" indicating the Passport's big screen.

Although the design of the BlackBerry Passport is already official, the manufacturer had only revealed it to feature a 4.5-inch 1440x1440 pixel resolution display with a pixel density of 453ppi.

Other purported specifications of the device include a 2.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 (MSM8974-AA) processor; an Adreno 330 GPU; 3GB of RAM; 32GB of inbuilt storage, expandable storage via microSD card (up to 64GB); a 13-megapixel rear camera with BSI sensor; a 2-megapixel front camera, and a 3450mAh battery.
