HTC Desire 310 with dual-SIM support launched at Rs. 11,700

The HTC Desire 310, after being announced earlier this month for the Taiwanese market, has finally reached Indian shores and is now listed on HTC India's official website. The HTC Desire 310 is also available for purchase from various online retailers, at a price tag of Rs. 11,350.

Update: HTC has issued a release mentioning a market operating price of Rs. 11,700 for the phone, and the headline has been updated to reflect the official price.

The HTC Desire 310 runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean out-of-the-box and notably features BlinkFeed, Video Highlights and Offline Reading mode. The dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) smartphone also features a 4.5-inch display with a resolution of FWVGA (480x854 pixels) resolution.

The HTC Desire 310 is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6582M chipset, coupled with 512MB of RAM. It includes 4GB of built-in storage, which is expandable up to 32GB via microSD card. It sports a 5-megapixel rear camera (with full-HD video recording), while there is a 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera.

The HTC Desire 310 comes with Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Micro-USB, EDGE, GPS, and 3G connectivity options. The smartphone packs a removable Li-Po 2000mAh battery. It measures 131.44x68.03x11.25mm and weighs 140 grams.

While the HTC Desire 310 Black colour variant is already sold out (Rs. 11,350) on Snapdeal, its White colour variant is still available for Rs. 11,479. The handset is also available with The Mobile Store for Rs. 11,358.

HTC launched its latest flagship smartphone, the HTC One (M8), on 25 March. The phone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 SoC and comes with a duo rear camera setup.

Apart from announcing immediate retail availability in some regions for the HTC One (M8), the Taiwanese handset maker also launched the Developer and Google Play editions of the One (M8).
