Samsung Galaxy S4 LTE-A version launched in South Korea

Samsung had launched its flagship smartphone Galaxy S4 in March 2013 and ever since the company has been launching various versions of this smartphone. The latest iteration to be unveiled is the Samsung Galaxy S4 LTE-A.

This smartphone will be available with SK Telecom in South Korea. SK Telecom is the world's first telecom company to have launched LTE-A network that is capable of reaching network speeds of up to 150MBPS.

Samsung Galaxy S4 LTE-A is the first smartphone in the world to come with LTE Advanced capabilities. It packs in 2.3 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor along with 2GB of RAM.

Samsung is currently offering the Galaxy S4 in seven colour options, but the Galaxy S4 LTE-A will be available in two colours: Blue Arctic and Red Aurora. The smartphone has been priced at 900000 South Korean Won, which translates to roughly Rs. 46,700.

The other features for the LTE-A version remain the same as the Samsung Galaxy S4. The smartphone comes with a 5-inch 1080p Super AMOLED display with a pixel density of 441ppi and 13-megapixels rear shooter and a 2-megapixel one on the front.

It packs in a 32GB of internal storage, which can be expanded via microSD card. Samsung Galaxy S4 LTE-A runs on Android 4.2.2 (Jelly Bean) along with a layer of TouchWiz UI.
