Samsung Wind-Free Air Conditioner Range With 'Still Air' Mode Launched in India

Samsung on Wednesday announced the launch of what it claims is the "world's first Wind-Free air conditioner" range in India. This custom range of air conditioners employs Samsung's proprietary Wind-Free cooling technology to maintain room temperature without the need of direct air outflow, the company says. The air conditioner comes with an anti corrosion Durafin condenser and 8 Pole series technology. Available at leading Samsung retail partner stores, the air conditioners have a price range of Rs. 50,950 to Rs. 74,260. The Wind-Free technology will be at display during ACREX 2018 in BIEC, Bengaluru.

The Samsung Wind-Free Room Air Conditioner & Systems Air Conditioner range offers customisations with options including 1 Way Cassette, 4 Way Cassette, and Mini 4 Way Cassette depending on user requirements. The air conditioner is claimed to have 9,000 to 21,000 micro air holes that disperse cold air without blowing it out actively. This creates a 'still air' effect that maintains room temperature according to your preferences. Samsung claims 72 percent less battery consumption compared to the regular Fast Cooling mode.
